Forty students from Wheeling High School spent a day at Jump Simulation Center in Peoria, IL. They were introduced to new technologies being used to improve health care training including virtual and augmented reality, a virtual operating room, and time with a heart and lungs in the anatomical skills lab.
"I very much enjoyed this trip and I learned about the educational process and how it works behind the scenes. This experience has inspired me to further pursue a career in the medical field. I especially enjoyed the presentation of the pig's lungs and heart, as it is one of the possible fields of medicine I wish to pursue" - Wheeling High Student
