School Year Program

The Academy provides school year programming after the school day for all middle school students in Waukegan, IL from September through May.

Our school year program is located at John Lewis Middle School and provides bussing from all Waukegan middle schools. During our time in the school year program we offer a wide range of support and activities to help students from sixth to eighth grade find success in middle school.

Our after school program focuses on student growth and development while creating a safe and inclusive environment for all. Students receive academic support, mentoring, positive peer relationships, and emotional education. Through sports and the classroom students learn and practice perseverance, dedication, and a commitment to progress not perfection. Our after school program has structured activities that provide support and cultivate practices that produce future leaders.
